What is Homes for Heroes?
Homes for Heroes is a national program that gives back to heroes when they buy, sell, or refinance a home. Homes for Heroes is not only nationwide, but has the largest affiliate network that participates in giving back to local heroes. This nationwide team consists of realtors, local lenders, and local businesses that give back to heroes through the program.
Homes for Heroes was founded after 9/11 for those who served and gave back to the nation during this critical time. Our nation’s heroes consist of firefighters/EMS, law enforcement, military (active, reserves, and veterans), healthcare workers, and teachers. The Homes for Heroes program allows realtors and lenders in their local area to ‘say thank you’ by giving back to local heroes in our community in the form of savings when they buy, sell, or refinance a house.
When a hero uses the Homes for Heroes program, not only will they benefit from it, but they will also be giving to other heroes in need. Homes for Heroes has a non-profit foundation called The Circle of Giving that provides help to heroes who need it. So as local realtors, lenders, and businesses give back to local heroes, the heroes using the Homes for Heroes program are also giving back to heroes in need across the nation.
Homes for Heroes is available across the nation, but here in Alabama, we have branded our affiliation for Homes for Heroes as Heroes of Alabama. The Howell Group – KW is an affiliate of Homes for Heroes through Heroes of Alabama.
